APA HOTEL EXCELLENT opens in front of Nagoya Sakae Ekimae. All 250 rooms have been fully renovated for functionality.

APA Hotel changed the name of APA Hotel Nagoya Nishiki EXCELLENT to APA Hotel Nagoya Sakae Ekimae EXCELLENT, and held its grand opening today, March 21.

Located at 3-15-30 Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, it is a one-minute walk from Sakae Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama and Meijo Lines in the downtown area.

The building consists of two basement levels and 11 floors above ground. The building will be renovated sequentially from 2022 as an EXCELLENT brand that offers a more relaxing stay, with the opening of the Gold Gym fitness center on the 3rd floor in June 2022, the Ise Japanese restaurant on the 5th floor in January 2024, and the Sun5 cafe on the 2nd floor in January 2024. In addition, the first floor has been reorganized to accommodate a new beauty salon, beauty parlor, and clinic.

All 250 guest rooms have been completely renovated to functional “new urban hotel” specifications, and are equipped with large LCD televisions (50-inch or larger), ceiling lights that enhance the brightness of the rooms, and Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machines that allow guests to enjoy freshly brewed coffee. In addition, unit baths were replaced with “Bollina Wide Plus” ultra fine bubble showerheads.

Room types include single (134 rooms), double (71 rooms), twin (26 rooms), deluxe twin (9 rooms), triple (5 rooms), suite (1 room), Japanese-style room (1 room) that can accommodate up to 6 people, as well as “DENBA Health” total body conditioning system DENBA Space Single Rooms” (3 rooms) are newly established.

In addition, the front desk will be equipped with a one-second check-in machine and an express check-out post that processes room card keys in real time when they are dropped in.
