Yurakai Resort reopened “Yurakai Resort Premium Seiunkaku” (68-1 Futamen, Awara City, Fukui Prefecture) on March 21, 2012.
Located on a hill overlooking Awara Onsen, a hot spring that has long been popular as the “Kansai region’s back seat,” the hotel has a variety of bathing spaces, including an open-air garden bath, a large tatami-mat bathhouse, a Jacuzzi, and a sauna. In this renewal, all bathing areas are equipped with “Mirable Zero,” a shower-type beauty machine that claims unparalleled cleansing power.
In addition to Japanese-style and Western-style rooms with a view of the rice paddies of the Sakai Plain, rooms with an open-air bath and Yukaichi Resort’s first “Loft Room” are also available. In addition, “Dinosaur Rooms” unique to Fukui Prefecture have been newly established, and fun rooms with different themes for forest, sea, sky, and space have been prepared.
The hotel has a kids’ park with large playground equipment, a hot spring bathhouse, and a free soft drink corner in the lobby. The standard ping-pong corner, manga corner, and karaoke room will also continue to be available.
The meals will be changed to “Gotochi Premium Buffet” of the Yuka Resort Premium type, and will be served freshly prepared in a live kitchen where visitors can enjoy the cooking scenery. The menu includes more than 160 different items for the evening and breakfast.
With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line between Kanazawa and Tsuruga on March 16, Ashiharaonsen Station, the inn’s nearest station, is now open, making it even closer to Kansai and Tokai, and easier to access from the Tokyo and Nagano areas.
Room rates start at 10,978 yen per night with half board (per person based on 4 persons per room).
