Ginza Onderella, operated by ONODERA Food Service, will open a new business model, “Noodles Ginza Onderella Honten” (1F PRYME CUBE Omotesando, 3-5-40 Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo) on May 1.
Located on Omotesando, a street lined with stores and cafes, it is within a 3-minute walk from Kaiten Sushi Ginza Ondera’s main restaurant. The restaurant offers ramen, which, like sushi, is a national dish of Japan and popular overseas, in the style of Ginza Ondera, a Michelin Guide-starred restaurant, at a reasonable price.
The restaurant will be comprehensively produced by Keiichi Terada, chef de cuisine at Onodera Ginza, which has been awarded one star in the Michelin Guide Tokyo for four consecutive years.
The restaurant’s signature dish is “Shoyu Ramen” (soy sauce ramen). The restaurant’s specialties are a clear broth with the aroma and richness of grilled duck, the flavor of various aromatic vegetables cooked slowly, and kaesu, a unique blend of several kinds of soy sauce.
The three types of noodles available at the opening are “Noodles Ginza Ondera” (950 yen), “Noodles Ginza Ondera Special” (1,450 yen), and “Noodles Ginza Ondera Supreme” (2,200 yen), each with different toppings such as smoked Japanese pork chashu, grilled duck chashu, truffle-scented special wontons, and herb butter to change the flavor. The toppings include smoked Japanese pork chashu pork, duck chashu pork that is grilled to perfection, special truffle-scented wontons, and herb butter for a different flavor. In the future, the restaurant plans to offer tsukemen, mazesoba, limited edition ramen, and other health-friendly menu items.
Business hours are 11:00 – 23:00 (last entry at 21:30, last order at 22:00), closed irregularly (closed during the year-end and New Year holidays). The restaurant has a total of 19 seats, including counter and table seating.
