The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed the Record of Discussions (R/D) with the Government of the Republic of Tunisia on March 19 in Tunis, the capital of the Republic of Tunisia, on the technical cooperation project “Quality/Productivity Improvement and BDS Promotion Project (Phase 3)”. The project was launched in Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia.
Since micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) account for more than 99% of the total number of enterprises in Tunisia, the government attaches great importance to improving the quality and productivity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Strengthening the competitiveness of the industry through quality and productivity improvement continues to be a priority issue in the face of rising unemployment due to the Corona disaster and subsequent energy price hikes.
