Shibuya PARCO will hold “STAR WARS EXHIBITION “PASSION STRENGTH POWER”” at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO in cooperation with Walt Disney Japan. The period is from April 26 to May 13.
Visitors can enjoy viewing art of popular characters from the “Star Wars” series drawn by popular artists. This event will also be held at PARCO GALLERY in Shinsaibashi PARCO from May 17 to June 3. Admission is 1,000 yen. Admission is free for elementary school students and younger.
STAR WARS EXHIBITION “PASSION STRENGTH POWER” is an art project in which artists express characters from the series under the theme of “PASSION/STRENGTH/POWER. The project is based on the theme of “PASSION/STRENGTH/POWER”.
The participating artists include HebruBrantley, Yoon Hyup, Hiroki Tsukuda, Ryuichi Ohira, and Motoi Sorayama.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Ryuichi Ohira created large wood sculptures of the Millennium Falcon, Darth Vader, and Stormtroopers. The 1/12 scale Millennium Falcon will be displayed on the first floor of Shibuya PARCO on the Park Avenue side of the building. Darth Vader and Stormtrooper, both approximately 3 meters in scale, will be on display in the Spanish Slope Plaza.
