Rakuten Travel resumes sales of Niigata “Hokuriku Oenwari” from April 10, 10:00 a.m.

The maximum discount is 20,000 yen per person per reservation, and cannot be applied to consecutive nights (only applicable to single-day stays). The discount is only available for “Domestic Lodging” services, and is not applicable to reservations made through Rakuten Pack (airline ticket + accommodation/Shinkansen/express train + accommodation) or Rakuten Travel’s foreign language website (inbound website).

Rakuten Travel will resume sales of “Hokuriku Oenwari” in Niigata Prefecture on April 10 at 10:00.

About “Hokuriku Support Discount

The “Hokuriku Ouen Wari” program announced by the government will subsidize up to 50% of the travel price (accommodation products and accommodation travel products with transportation) for domestic and international visitors in order to restore tourism demand in the four Hokuriku prefectures that suffered a decline due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake in 2024.

The program applies to stays between March 16 and April 26 (including check-out on April 27), and reservations can be made directly at participating lodging facilities, as well as through travel agencies and OTAs designated by each prefecture.

Discount applies Reservations made on or after March 8, 2024

*Reservations for Ishikawa Prefecture are made after March 12.

Discount limit (per person per reservation) Lodging only: 20,000 yen maximum

Travel products for overnight stay with transportation (1 night): up to 20,000 yen

Travel products with transportation (2 nights or more): up to 30,000 yen

Round-trip travel products (lodging in two or more prefectures): Up to 35,000 yen
