Posted on 2024-04-152024-04-22 by Editor in Chief

Tateyama Kurobe Kanko opened the “Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route” to traffic on April 15. In conjunction with this, the “2024 Tateyama Kurobe Snow Valley Festival” will be held until June 25.

This year’s “Yuki-no-Otani” (Snow Valley), which is created by clearing snow that has fallen in the heavy snowfall area at an altitude of 2,450 meters, reaches 14 meters high. Visitors can enjoy the power of this giant wall of snow through events such as the “Yuki-no-Otani Walk.

In addition, at the Tateyama Murododaira and Taikanbo venues, there will be a renewed “Ensho! Panorama Road” and the Golden Week limited event “Tateyama Yuki Terrace” will be held. Admission is free, but some events require a separate participation fee.

In addition, an SNS campaign will be held from April 15 to May 31. Predict the height of the “Snowy Valley” on the last day of the Snowy Valley Festival and post a quote repost to the official X (@tateyamakurobe_) post of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Two winners drawn by lottery whose predictions are correct will receive tickets for a ride on the Alpine Route.
