I tried the pasta set at the Plaza Pavilion Restaurant, the second Disney Palpalooza, all about Donald! Blue drink tastes surprising!

Tokyo Disneyland began the second installment of the “Disney Palpalooza” special event series, “Donald’s Quacky Duck City,” on April 9!

Until June 30, the entire park will be transformed into “Duck City,” the ideal town that Donald Duck dreamed up. From the decorations to the shows, the park is all about Donald Duck! I have just had a taste of some of the recommended menu items to enjoy in this world of Donald Duck.

We visited the Plaza Pavilion Restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant surprised everyone as we approached. It is painted in Donald’s colors of blue, white, and yellow. In addition, Chef Donald Duck has put a lot of effort into developing the restaurant’s menu.

I chose the “Duck Dive Pasta Set” (2,040 yen). The “Fettuccine Carbonara with Beef Meat Sauce” was served as if Donald Duck had dived into the pasta.

The creamy carbonara sauce is intertwined with the meat sauce and is sure to be a complete meal for adults and children alike! The plump tail is served with a leg made of cheese on the egg and blue cheese on the side.

Dessert is the “Rare Cheese Mousse Cake with Pineapple,” which has a round shape and a lovely chocolate top. The mousse is filled with pineapple sauce. The refreshing taste was irresistible.

In addition, you will receive an original “Donald’s Quacky Duck City” luncheon mat with your order of this menu. It depicts Donald Duck as a chef posing with a proud expression on his face.

The Sparkling Jelly Drink (Tropical Fruit & Orange) with Souvenir Coaster (1,000 yen) is the one to order with the set menu. The fluffy, pure white bubbles in this drink make you think of Donald Duck.

The drink is a refreshing blue color, but I was surprised when I tasted it! It is orange-flavored. It’s a trick and a surprise, just like Donald Duck.

A random “Souvenir Coaster” is also included with the drink. There are three types in total, and it is up to you to decide which one you will win. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Daisy Duck are designed on the coasters, so whichever one you get is a winner. Incidentally, on the back side is the image of Pete, the eternal rival of Mickey Mouse! I have a feeling there is going to be a stir!
