JAL began offering paper toothbrushes at JAL lounges at Haneda and Narita airports.
JAL’s goal of eliminating petroleum-derived packaging and materials by 2024 in its in-flight cabins and lounges led to the decision to introduce this product. One of the themes in selecting alternative materials was to avoid mold, and the paper toothbrush developed by ESTECH was adopted. According to the company, this is the first paper toothbrush in the world.
The toothbrush can be used about 3 times. The handle is made of FSC certified domestic paper.
