The Japan RV Association (JRVA) has certified eight new locations (as of the end of March) as “RV Parks,” facilities for overnight stays in vehicles.
RV Park Fujisusono (Shizuoka Prefecture)
The RV park is located in the “Camper Garden,” a camper display facility that opened on March 15, 2012, by Mishima Daihatsu, a member company of the Japan RV Association, and is set back from the road at the back of the display area so that visitors can enjoy a quiet overnight stay in their cars.
The interior of the facility is a warm, woody space made of Fuji cypress, the interior material used in the company’s “Kuokka” camper.
Located approximately 4 km from the Susono IC of the Tomei Expressway, the hotel can easily be used as a base for travel to the foot of Mount Fuji and Hakone.

Facilities: garbage disposal available, power available, water available, bathing facilities on site, pets allowed, 24-hour restrooms available, side awnings OK, tables outside vehicle available
