One Bright KOBE has decided on “TOTTEI” as the nickname for the New Port No. 2 Jetty area where the GLION ARENA KOBE, scheduled to open in April 2025, will be located.
GLION ARENA KOBE is a next-generation arena with a capacity of up to 10,000 people, which will be used for various events such as music concerts and professional sports games as well as home games as the home of the Kobe Stokes of the B League. The arena will also feature a luxurious VIP area where visitors can enjoy a new spectator experience.
The Shinko No. 2 Jetty Area “TOTTEI” will consist of this arena as the core facility, the “FOOD & SHOP Area (tentative name)” overlooking the Kobe Waterfront Area (Shinko Daiichi Jetty area), and “TOTTEI PARK” where visitors can enjoy the unique view of the port of Kobe and Mount Rokko.
The FOOD & SHOP area (tentative name) will feature several restaurants and cafes with open terraces. These will be available for daily use even when there are no events at the arena, and visitors will be able to enjoy meals while viewing the Port Tower and other tourist attractions.
TOTTEI PARK will feature a “green hill” shaped structure that can be used as spectator seating during events, an all-weather multipurpose space where visitors can enjoy the green nature, a BBQ restaurant, and a brewery that will brew original craft beer.
TOTTEI will inherit the name of “Juttei,” which has supported Kobe’s development for more than 100 years, and aim to become “Kobe’s entertainment cutting-edge area. Original craft beer with the TOTTEI label will also be on sale.
The official website of the “Kobe Arena Project” has been renewed as the “TOTTEI” page in conjunction with the nickname decision.
