Tokyo Disneyland launched the special event “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition! started today, April 9.

With the closure on July 31 of Space Mountain, a popular attraction that has been a favorite since the park’s opening, visitors will be able to enjoy their last space trip with memories of the past for about four months.

Special decorations, including a special event logo and a banner depicting “The Final Ignition!” will be displayed at the front of the attraction.

During the event, a photo location featuring the current “Space Mountain” ride will be available, and you can even take a picture as if you were riding the ride in outer space.

In addition, Tomorrowland will distribute “Original Design Stickers,” which are limited to the event. Regardless of whether or not you use the attraction, you can ask a nearby Cast Member for a sticker.

Also worth checking out is the special menu! The Sparkling Jelly Drink (Coca-Cola & Lemon Vanilla) (700 yen) sold at the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant has a very cool cup design with Mickey in a space suit x Special Event logo.

I drank it immediately and found passion fruit jelly and lemon in the sizzling carbonated water. The sweet aroma of vanilla and the spicy flavor cooled down my body after a long day of fun and excitement.

The popcorn wagon will also feature a “regular box” with a special astronaut Mickey design as well! Available at four wagon locations: next to The Gazebo, in front of Sweetheart Café, next to Treasure Comet, and at the Popping Pod, and available in two flavors: Salt or Caramel.

Not only can you taste the royal combination of popcorn and cola, but you can also commemorate the occasion by taking a picture of them together.

Space Mountain will be closed for a time, but will open in 2027 with a new look and more power. Space Traveler, let’s enjoy it to the fullest until its last day!
