On April 23, Toyoko Inn held a groundbreaking ceremony for the opening of its first Toyoko Inn in Kochi Prefecture (2-1-13 Honmachi, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture). The opening is scheduled for February 2026.
The company has already opened 337 stores in 46 prefectures, and with the opening of this planned site (tentatively named Kochi Ohashi-dori Building), which will be located near Ohashi-dori Station on the Tosaden Ino Line, the company will complete its expansion into 47 prefectures nationwide.
The facility will have 209 rooms on 14 floors, including 147 single rooms, 13 deluxe single rooms, 11 double rooms, 23 twin rooms, 12 Hollywood twin rooms, 2 heartful single rooms, and 1 heartful twin room. The breakfast room will be located on the top floor, offering a view of Kochi Castle.
