The festival runs from April 13 to November 24 (closed May 27-31). Admission is 1000-1300 yen for adults (junior high school students and older) and 500-700 yen for children (3 years old and older), the same as the “Fuji Shiba Cherry Blossom Festival”. Admission is free during the rest of the year, except from July 20 to August 30.

Peter Rabbit English Garden is an English-style garden that recreates the world of “Peter Rabbit’s Story,” a picture book set in the Lake District of England. Supervised by English garden designer Mark Chapman, visitors can enjoy strolling through the garden from spring to early winter while admiring approximately 300 varieties of plants, trees, and flowers.

Starting April 13, seven new “Peter Rabbit Story Trails,” outdoor galleries scattered with “pieces of stories” from the picture book series, will appear. A photo spot featuring an illustration of “Tom the Cat” playing with butterflies in his garden, which also appears in Peter Rabbit’s books, will join the gallery.

The store offers a lineup of various products available only here, including an original plush toy (3,670 yen), a mug with a tea strainer (2,500 yen) perfect for tea time, and “Koshu Inden” products with original designs. New spring products include a Peter Rabbit flake key chain (1,100 yen) and mobile stand (800 yen) with peaches and grapes, Yamanashi’s specialty.

The café attached to the garden offers original menu items such as “Bloom Pie” (3,800 yen each), which is based on the pie and daisy flowers in the picture book, “Uncle McGregor’s Freshly-picked Vegetable Bouquet Salad” (1,700 yen), which features colorful vegetables and smoked salmon arranged like a bouquet of flowers, and “Roast Beef and Fuji-shaped rice (2,800 yen). In addition, take-out menu items such as crispy cream puffs and breads will also be available.

In the gallery inside the store, visitors can experience as if they have entered the world of picture books with five story themes, including “Peter Rabbit’s Story,” “Red Squirrel Natkin’s Story,” and “Jeremy the Frog’s Story. The 8-meter-high garden tower overlooks the garden and offers a view of Mt. The interior walls of the tower will be decorated with frames of various characters, including Peter.
