Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort (12056 Kitashiro, Hakuba-mura, Kitaazumi-gun, Nagano Prefecture), operated by Iwatake Resort, will open for the 2024 green season on April 19.

Activities include the Hakuba Giant Swing, which opened on October 6, 2023. Located at an altitude of 1,100 meters, this wind-up swing is characterized by its ability to jump out of the start with great force and experience a great sense of levitation, regardless of age or physical strength. With a maximum swing range of approximately 6 meters in front of you, you can experience the thrill of jumping into the snow-covered and freshly green mountains and the Hakuba Village countryside below you.

Other activities this season include the spectacular view swing “Yoo-hoo! Swing presented by Nyanko Daisenso,” horseback riding attractions, mountain carts, and mountain bikes. From Golden Week onward, live music, yoga, and other hands-on events are also planned.

In addition, Soup Stock Tokyo Hakuba, a restaurant specializing in soups to eat, opened for the first time in the prefecture at “Sky Ark” located at the top of Mt. In addition to the original local production for local consumption menu using Shinshu ingredients available only at the Hakuba branch, the new menu this spring includes “Tokyo Sanggi-Tang” (700 yen), “Keema Curry with Fig Chutney” (1100 yen), “Black Sesame Zenzai with White Beans” (700 yen), “Strawberry and Adzuki Milk Che (cold)” (700 (700 yen), and “Strawberry and Azuki Milk Che (cold)” (700 yen).

In addition, “Smoked Shinshu Salmon Sandwich Grown in Hakuba” (1,400 yen) and “Amao Mint Soft Ice Cream” (680 yen) will be available at “THE CITY BAKERY” and “CHAVATY HAKUBA” restaurants in Iwatake Resort as spring season limited menu.
