JR East Hotels’ Hotel Metropolitan (1-6-1 Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) will re-launch its popular “Suica’s Penguin Room,” which ended in March 2023, with a new concept and limited to one room per day. The offer period is from May 1 to March 31, 2025.
This time, under the theme of “CAFE TIME,” the “City View King Double” on the 23rd floor of the hotel has been decorated with Suica penguins. In addition to a large stuffed animal greeting you in your guest room, the room is fully furnished with a variety of interior decorations and goods.
The plan includes “Suica’s Penguin Cake Chocolat Orangette” and “Suica’s Penguin Pancakes (room service)” for breakfast, as well as “Cup & Saucer” and eco-friendly “Cutlery Set” (for two persons each), original goods that only guests of the room can receive. At night, guests can also enjoy the night view of the city center from the hotel’s upper floors.
Rates start at 38,500 yen per night per room for two people. Reservations will be accepted on the official page, starting at 12:00 p.m. on April 12 for stays from May 1 to June 30, and 12:00 p.m. on May 1 for stays from July 1 to 31 (thereafter, reservations for two months ahead will be accepted from 12:00 p.m. on the 1st of each month).
