Doha Hamad International Airport is known for its easy connections not only to the Middle East, but also as a hub to Africa and Europe, and is highly rated, having been awarded the “World’s Best Airport” by the airline rating company Skytrax for the consecutive years 2021-2022.
Kenichiro Ochi, Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of Solution Sales Division, who spoke at the ceremony at Gate 112 before the first flight departure, said, “Doha, the capital of Qatar, is a lovely city with traditional markets and museums, state-of-the-art hotels, and a far-flung desert. Doha’s airport is home to Qatar Airways, an alliance member, which has an extensive network to Europe, South America, and Africa. This inaugural flight will provide passengers with more comfort and convenience than ever before,” he said, giving an overview of the route.
