iLbf will open Kawamachi Misato Riverside Campsite (Misato no Kaze Hiroba, 1-8-2 Misato, Misato, Saitama) on the banks of the Edogawa River in Misato, Saitama Prefecture.
The program will be available for a limited time starting April 1, with an end date yet to be determined. The fee will start at 2,200 yen.
The project is part of Misato City’s efforts to revitalize the Edogawa riverside area around JR Misato Station, and to create an attractive town utilizing local resources. The Kawamachi Misato Riverside Campground is located a six-minute drive from the nearest highway interchange and a five-minute walk from JR Misato Station.
Activities such as barbecues, a dog run, and a hands-on campfire experience will be available, as well as overnight spaces for campervan users. In addition to this, a kitchen car will be available to provide refreshments for those who use the bike path and enjoy the riverbanks.
