Pioneer has released a pre-release version of its MOTTO GO voice navigation system for motorcycles for Android devices on a limited basis. The period is from April 22 to the end of June.
New features include speech response when suggesting routes, switching between landscape and day/night screens, searching for routes that take into account traffic volume and ease of driving, and searching for parking spaces for motorcycles.
The functionality from the beta version released in 2023 will be expanded, and the “Recommended Spot Route Information” will be enhanced with sightseeing information by utilizing data from the “MAPLE Sightseeing Guide Data Series.” In addition, touring spot information will be added at the end of April with the “Touring MAPLE 2024 Edition.
In addition to road conditions while driving, it is now possible to receive voice notifications of weather and high wind information along the way. If you register your favorite stores or places you would like to visit, you can also receive voice notifications when you approach a registered point. Voice command operations such as “MOTTO GO, go home” and “cancel route” have also been added as trial functions.
