Seibu Railway will conduct a verification experiment in the latter half of FY2024 on touch-sensitive cards (credit, debit, and prepaid cards) and smartphone with the cards installed for boarding services. The experiment will be conducted at 21 stations, mainly around terminal stations and tourist attractions.
Although specific station names are not disclosed, examples of tourist attractions include the Chichibu/Kawagoe area, Seibuen Yuenchi (Seibuen Yuenchi Station), Belluna Dome (Seibu Kyujo-mae Station), and Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo (Toshimaen Station).
