LINE Yahoo Japan has launched a paid option, “Yahoo!
During use, four functions will be available: “Custom Tab,” “Bus Only Route Search,” “Kodama/Hikari Search,” and “Hide Ads.
Custom tabs is a feature that allows you to change the tab display on the route search results screen. Normally, the three tabs are ordered by “time,” “frequency,” and “fare,” but this order can be changed. In addition, as “Custom Order,” you can search for routes that use only buses, routes that specify which routes to use and which not to use, and routes with a maximum walking time for a single segment.
The bus-only route search is a function that allows the user to turn off “regular train” from the “means of use” in the search condition settings. Normally, a regular train is always selected as the mode of travel, but with the introduction of this option, routes that do not use trains and only use buses can also be searched.
The Kodama/Hikari search is a function that allows you to turn off “Fastest Train” from the “Means of Use” in the search condition settings. The fastest train” refers to the four Shinkansen trains “Hayabusa,” “Komachi,” “Nozomi,” and “Mizuho,” and by turning this off, you can check routes using only stop trains such as “Kodama,” “Hikari,” and “Yamabiko.
As the name suggests, ad hiding hides the ads that appear at the top of search results.
The fee is 150 yen per month, and a one-week free trial period is available after the initial registration. The company has not yet decided whether to offer this feature on the Android version or on the Yahoo!
