Cathay Pacific has unveiled a mock-up of the premium economy class it will add to its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, scheduled for introduction by the end of the year.
The new seats feature leather headrests with privacy wings to shield the driver’s eyes from the surrounding environment, seat cushions for adjustable seating comfort, storage for small items, and a Bluetooth-enabled 15.6-inch 4K monitor. The backrest has a reclining function, and leg and foot rests are also available. In-flight entertainment includes new Hollywood movies, HBO Max, award-winning TV drama series, latest hit albums, games, and Disney+ originals.
In conjunction with the introduction of Pre-Eco, the entire cabin interior has been redesigned, and dedicated Pre-Eco restrooms with touchless functions have been installed on both sides of the cabin. This aircraft is scheduled to be in service on Japan routes this year.
In addition, he also introduced the in-flight meals, a collaboration of Chinese wines and a famous restaurant in the port, which are available in first and business class on long-haul flights until May.
