Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, operated by Tateyama Kurobe Kanko, will start selling the “Summer Early-bird discount 10 (ten)” web ticket, which offers a discount for reservations made 10 days in advance, on May 1.
The period of use is from July 1 to August 31. During the summer season, the highlights are the sightseeing water release from the Kurobe Dam, which begins on June 26, and Mikuriga-ike Pond in Murodou-daira, where mountain ranges are reflected on the lake surface from mid-July when the snow melts.
