On April 25, JCB International, in cooperation with Taiwan’s Kuo Tai Shihua Bank, began accepting JCB touch payments on the “Taichung MRT Green Line. The service can be used by holding a card or smartphone compatible with JCB touch payment over the ticket gate.
The “Taichung MRT Green Line,” the first MRT in Taichung, opened in 2021. 16.71 km long, it connects 18 stations from Beitunsong Station to the THSR Taichung Station, where popular tourist attractions such as Saihong Village and Taiwan Folk Culture Museum are located.
