Snow Peak will release the Winsel 2, a low-press specification dome tent that eliminates the rope connecting the flysheet to the ground, and the Nix gas lantern on April 27.
The “Winsel 2″ covers strength even in low-pressure conditions by firmly securing the bottom of the flysheet, which is extended in six directions, to the ground. It is said to reduce the time and physical burden required for setting up.
When the front room panel extending forward is raised, it can be used like a tarp to create a living space. An elastic cord is installed on the inner tent’s entrance/exit panel, and when the mesh panel is open, simply pulling the entrance/exit panel toward you allows for smooth entry and exit. A special inner mat and groundsheet set will also be sold separately.
Nix” is a gas lantern with a storage case. With the ease of ignition and extinguishing unique to gas, it is said to allow users to enjoy the flickering of a fire even in environments where a bonfire or open flame is not possible.
