Orion Hotel has reopened the “Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa” (148-1 Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture). The name has been changed from “Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa.
Part of the hotel was renovated to mark the 10th anniversary of its opening, and in particular, the Club Wing, the suite wing, was completely remodeled. The guestrooms were designed to be “rooms that are close to the five senses,” with an awareness of wind and light. In addition to sweets, the lounge offers two types of cocktail sets to improve service.
A “Premium Floor” is newly established on the top floor of the “Ocean Wing” in the guest room wing. Guests will have access to the exclusive facilities of the “Club Wing” and breakfast in the main dining room, which will be described later.
Two other restaurants will be available for in-house dining: the existing Sirius all-day dining restaurant, the Capella barbecue restaurant, and Kari, which offers Ryukyuan cuisine and awamori in a casual setting. The main dining room, “ristorante GLAUCO” is an Italian restaurant with Hideaki Nagaya as head chef. The cuisine, which makes extensive use of local ingredients such as Kanatake Agu pork and island miso, is said to be designed to pair well with Orion beer. The Orion Beer Bar, which serves Orion beer, has also opened this time.
In addition, the “Orion Official Store,” a souvenir store selling Orion beer goods and other Okinawan products, was newly opened.
