Jewelry retailer Kay Uno will release its new brooch “RAPUNZEL ART COLLECTION BY SHOKO NAKAGAWA – Brooch-” on May 8.
It features artwork by Shoko Nakagawa, who played Rapunzel in the movie “Rapunzel on the Tower,” and is priced at 770,000 yen. It will be unveiled at “Disney THE MARKET in Hankyu Umeda” on May 3.
The new collection, which will appear as “RAPUNZEL ART COLLECTION BY SHOKO NAKAGAWA,” a collection with art newly drawn by Ms. Nakagawa, features a heart-shaped design of Rapunzel’s magical hair in K18 yellow gold. Rubies and orange sapphires are scattered, and the world view is expressed with K14 rose gold, silver, and cloisonne ware. Delivery is scheduled for late August or later.
Purchasers will also receive a surprise in the form of a box (addressed to them) with their autographs by drawing lots. A total of 20 winners will be selected: 10 winners for purchases at “Disney THE MARKET in Hankyu Umeda” and “Hankyu ONLINE STORE”, and 10 winners for purchases at “Kayuno Official Website”.
