Jackery Japan (Jackery) released the “Portable Power Supply 240 New” on May 7.

It is a renewal of the “Portable Power Supply 240,” which has sold a total of 500,000 units. The capacity has been increased from 241.9Wh to 256Wh and the rated output from 200W to 300W. It weighs approximately 3.6 kg and measures approximately 23.1 x 15.3 x 16.8 cm (W x D x H).

The battery has been changed from a ternary lithium-ion battery to a lithium-ion iron phosphate battery with BMS protection, and the unique ChargeShield Technology 2.0 rapid charging technology has enabled approximately 4000 charge/discharge cycles. In addition, it also has a UL1778-certified UPS function, so if a portable power supply is normally connected to a TV or refrigerator, the power supply will automatically switch to the portable power supply in the event of a power failure.

The charging speed of the unit has also been improved. The emergency charging mode allows for a full charge in as fast as 60 minutes, and the solar charging input has been increased from 65W to 100W, allowing for a full charge in as fast as 3.3 hours.

To celebrate the launch of the new products, a campaign offering up to 25% off the “Portable Power Supply 240 New” and the “Solar Generator 240 New 40 Mini” with solar panel is also available until 11:59 p.m. on June 6. The products are available at the official online store, Amazon, Rakuten Ichiba, and Yahoo!

The “Portable Power Supply 240 New” is priced at 32,800 yen (26,240 yen at 25% off), and the “Solar Generator 240 New 40 Mini” at 49,900 yen (37,425 yen at 25% off).
