Roll cake commemorating the 15th anniversary “Sakura Tropical Mochi Roll” (3,800 yen), jointly developed by the pastry chefs of the two hotels, is available at the Rendezvous Lounge (1st floor, Honkan). The cake expresses both Japanese and Hawaiian flavors by using mochi (rice cake), sakura (cherry blossoms), and tropical fruits. The surface is decorated with gold leaf and features a tropical flavor, the aroma of cherry blossoms, and the texture of the sticky dough. It is served with tropical sauce, pineapple sorbet, fruit, and coffee or tea.

New Fair-only menu and Halekulani signature dishes at “Parkside Diner” (1st floor, Honkan) Halekulani’s banquet and event chefs will offer three new menu items for the fair, including. “Mochi Fish” with ginger and coconut sauce (¥3,500):

Grated and powdered rice cake is placed on sea bream and grilled, served with ginger and coconut sauce.

“Joy’s Special” sandwich (3,200 yen):

Halekulani’s signature menu item. A sandwich of crab meat combined with celery and egg, avocado bacon, and whole wheat bread.

Loco Moco Demi-glace Sauce with Fried Rice Cake and Fried Egg (4,500 yen):

This was a popular menu item last year. Loco moco with hamburger steak, demi-glace sauce and fried egg on rice with garlic and sriracha sauce.
