JR West “WEST EXPRESS Ginga” Kinan Course, July-September service information. Kyoto to Shingu is around 8,670 yen one way.l

JR West Japan has announced details of the sightseeing train “WEST EXPRESS Ginga” Kinan Course for July through September, including an outline of the train’s operation and special offers.

Operating period: July 1 – September 25, 2024 (21 round trips based on departure date from the first station)

Service section: Kyoto – Shingu Station

Train Type:

[Kyoto → Shingu] Overnight express train

[Shingu→Kyoto] Daytime limited express train

The fare for the reclining couchette from Kyoto Station to Shingu Station is 8,670 yen per adult (one-way ticket + reserved seat express ticket, regular season). Reservations can be made at 10:00 a.m. one month prior to the boarding date via the online reservation service “e5489” or at the Midori-no-Madoguchi ticket counter.
