A large collection of newly designed trash cans found at Disney’s new theme port, Fantasy Springs!

Tokyo DisneySea will open its eighth theme port, Fantasy Springs, on June 6. The theme is “The World of Disney Fantasy Guided by Magical Springs” and will consist of three areas and one Disney Hotel.

In this issue, we introduce the new design of the “Trashcan” (trash can), which combines visual appeal and convenience to maintain the world view inside the themed port.

The Frozen Kingdom trashcan, themed on the world of the movie “Anna and the Snow Queen,” comes with the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Arendelle. The design is in the form of a deformed crocus, and the base is a soft shade of brown. The wood grain gives it the impression of a door. Overall, it has an elegant patina that is very appealing.

In “Rapunzel’s Forest,” themed on the world of the movie “Rapunzel on the Tower,” we find a trashcan designed to blend in with the forest. This one has a wilder look, even though it has the same wood grain pattern. It has an atmospheric appearance as if it has been used and exposed to the wind and rain. The black base gives it a crisp look.

Next is the Trashcan around “Peter Pan’s Neverland,” which expands the world of the movie “Peter Pan. This one features a grass weave design that looks like woven plant skins and leaves. I wonder if the Lost Kids or the Monozukuri Fairy worked on it? This is a naturalistic visual that expands the synthesis to include such things as the following. The soft cream color base also created a fun atmosphere.

A new design is also found around the Fantasy Springs Entrance, where visitors can enter the new theme port from between Lost River Delta and Arabian Coast! This design is reminiscent of a door. It is a familiar antique-style design with decorative studs and hinges.

Trash cans with the Fantasy Springs logo design are also being installed around the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel and in areas where rock work can be enjoyed. The logo is designed in dark, deep navy with a gold rim. It features an elegant design typical of the new area.

It is indeed a good thing that the new theme port areas blend in with each other, but are still clearly recognizable as Trashcan! One of the coolest ways to enjoy the new area is to look for trash cans. Why don’t you take a tour around the area and try to find them?
