AOKI launched women’s suits with particular attention to material, silhouette, and functionality from its “Air Cool Series” to make hot summers more comfortable.
The outer fabric is made of “Air Tech Spun,” a material developed through an industry-academic collaboration between AOKI and the Faculty of Textile Science and Technology at Shinshu University, which is breathable and comfortable to wear even in hot weather. It is also equipped with a UV-cut function to protect the skin from strong sunlight.
Also, under the supervision of designer Akiko Ogawa, we pursued a silhouette that looks beautiful from any angle. The garment does not pick up the lines of the body too much and has a moderate fit for comfort.
The lineup consists of three items: a one-button jacket (25,300 yen), a semi-flared skirt (13,200 yen), and cropped pants (15,400 yen). Each is available in navy blue and gray, in sizes 3-17. They are available at AOKI stores nationwide and at the AOKI official online store.
