JR Tokai Food Service has launched Ibigawa Matcha Piyorin, a Gifu Prefecture collaboration piyorin, at two stores in Nagoya Station (Piyorin STATION Cafe Jean Siane and Piyorin Shop). Priced at 550 yen per piece, they will be available until May 17.
This sweet is a bavaro made with 100% flavorful Ibi tea produced in Ibigawa-cho, Gifu Prefecture, and wrapped in Nagoya Cochin egg pudding. Ibicha is also used in the chocolate wings and tosaka. Available from 10:00, 14:00, and 17:00 on each day. Each person can purchase up to two wings.
The Piyorin STATION Cafe Jean-Chiane will also sell a Piyorin sundae full of matcha green tea at the same time. The tosaka portion will feature “Ibiishikokokorokoro,” a famous confectionary from Ibi-gaishoan Miwaya, founded in 1889, and will be served with thick Ibi tea gelato, Ibi matcha sponge, matcha whipped cream, and other ingredients. The price is 1,450 yen.
