Tokyo Marriott Hotel (4-7-36 Kita-Shinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) will offer “Peachy PEACH Afternoon Tea” featuring sumptuous peaches at its Lounge & Dining G restaurant on the first floor from July 1 to August 31. The price is 7,500 yen per person.
For the shortcakes and tarts, the patissier carefully selects rare and valuable peaches from the “Martou Farm” in Yamanashi Prefecture; in July, the patissier uses white huang-type peaches with soft texture and flesh, and in August, white peach-type peaches with firm flesh and strong sweetness.
This time, eight peach-filled sweets will be available, including “Peach Fromage Mousse with Yamanashi Peaches” and “Earl Grey and Peach Cheese Sablé Sandwich,” which sandwich peach cheese cream between fragrant Earl Grey sablé.
The set also includes four savory dishes and eight kinds of tea and five kinds of coffee with free refills.
The event will be held in two parts, starting at 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm. Reservations are accepted from the official website.
