On May 13, leather goods brand genten launched the “STAR WARS collection” with a Star Wars theme.
The new items released this time are small leather goods of popular droids R2-D2 and BB-8 from the series: “Exciting Charm ‘R2-D2′” (19,800 yen) and “Pass Case ‘BB-8′” (22,000 yen).
Each droid’s charm is expressed with the delicacy of handcraftsmanship, and R2-D2 is made of up to five layers of finely cut leather parts. Even the light in the lens and the charms are made of leather.
The round, round form of BB-8 has a warm atmosphere thanks to the use of leather. It can hold two cards, so you will always want to carry it with you on your commute to work or school.
Both have the “STAR WARS” logo on the back. Both models come with the “STAR WARS” logo on the back and a charm featuring the “Starbird” (phoenix) symbol of the Rebel Army and the Resistance.
