A little bit in the palm of your hand. Disney-designed Karimoku furniture in miniature!

Posted on 2024-05-142024-06-07 by Editor in Chief

TOMY Arts will release “Karimoku OTONA Disney Style Gacha Collection,” a miniature version of Karimoku’s Disney-designed “OTONA Disney Style” furniture. The price will be 500 yen per unit, and the product will be available at capsule toy shops nationwide starting in mid-May.

OTONA Disney Style” is a popular series developed by furniture manufacturer Karimoku since 2016. The series features the company’s long-selling “Colonial” series with a design that fits in well with daily life, subtly sprinkled with Disney-like elements.

The first miniature version of the series includes four types: a rocking chair, an armchair, a table, and a dining room chair. The wood is painted with a gradation of colors and printed to bring out the grain of the wood.

The brass plates that come with the furniture are painted and printed in great detail. The “dining room chair” also features a hidden Mickey.

The “rocking chair” can also be rocked, which is a key point of the elaborate construction. It will support the creation of dioramas by placing your figures on it.
