Han Chao has renewed the Korea High Speed Rail (KTX) reservation service on the Korea travel information site “Connect”. This is in partnership with the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL).
The service, which previously required an operator to check seat availability and issue tickets after reservations are made, has been changed to a format that allows users to directly check seat availability and make purchases on the website. Now, users can check seat availability in real time, and can also designate their preferred seats, eliminating the time lag before ticketing.
In the past, only one-way tickets that departed from or arrived at some stations on some lines were available, but with the renewal, all stops on all lines, including the Chubu Nairiku Line and Keizento Line, can now be selected, and round-trip tickets can also be purchased.
Reservations are accepted one month in advance of the boarding date and can be cancelled up to three days in advance free of charge.
