Yamazen has established a new home appliance series “ELEIN” that utilizes lithium-ion batteries, and will begin sequential sales in early June.

Expectations for the use of solar energy are increasing as a countermeasure against rising electricity rates and power outages in the event of natural disasters, and with the expansion of “energy-creating homes” with solar panels installed, the need for effective methods of utilizing the energy generated is increasing. Against this backdrop, the company developed the “ELEIN” series of home appliances combined with lithium-ion batteries.

As the first phase, a total of 16 items are available: 2 items from the “Battery & Charger” category, 6 items as “Battery Compatible Home Appliances,” 3 items as “Portable Power Supply,” 3 items as “Solar Panel,” and 1 item as “Charging Station. By combining these products, users can use the solar energy stored in their batteries during the day when they are out of the house to save energy when they return home, enabling them to save energy in an effortless manner.

The “Battery & Charger” category features a high-output, high-capacity lithium-ion battery that supports quick charging and a dedicated quick charger. The battery, which can be used in the same series, can be fully recharged in about two hours by attaching it to a dedicated quick charger, and its USB Type-C output enables it to be used as a mobile battery for recharging smartphones and other devices.

The “battery-compatible home appliances” lineup includes a compact cooler with a cool breeze of -10°C compared to the surrounding temperature, a fan that can be used for outdoor activities and disasters, a factory fan with a 40cm blade size, and three sizes of cold storage and warm storage units (9L, 25L, and 35L).

The “Portable Power Supply” uses lithium-ion iron phosphate batteries, which have a longer lifespan than typical lithium-ion batteries. It is available in three capacities of different sizes depending on the intended use. They can store electricity using a variety of input methods to power a wide range of home appliances. Charge and discharge tests have confirmed a life of 3000 times.

The “solar panel” generates electricity from solar energy and can be used as a portable power source or to charge smartphones. Compact in weight and size, they can easily be used on a rented balcony or at a campsite.

The “Charging Station” can charge four of the series’ lithium-ion batteries at once. When equipped with lithium-ion batteries, it can also be used as a portable power source, and can be connected to AC-powered products.
