The Prince Hotel Kyoto Takaragaike to hold first “Firefly Viewing Evening”. Cocktails and special kaiseki menu

The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike (1092-2 Iwakura Hatae-cho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) will hold “An Evening of Firefly Viewing. The event will be held from June 22 to 23, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Over two days, approximately 700 fireflies will be released in the courtyard, and while admiring the fireflies, visitors can enjoy concerts of harp, piano kalimba, hammer sima, and other instruments, as well as original cocktails.

Original cocktails will be served at the Bonfire Lounge. Two types of original cocktails will be available: the “Moon Firefly,” a melon liqueur-based cocktail with blue curacao syrup, and the “Ring Blue,” a mocktail with blue curacao syrup and ginger ale (1,380 yen each).

In addition, “Firefly Kaiseki” (16,000 yen per person), a special kaiseki menu featuring “tea” in the menu such as “Kumi Yuba and Undan with fresh green bean paste” and “Grilled Sea Bass with green tea miso” will be offered at “Japanese Cuisine Takaragaike” restaurant facing the courtyard.

The hotel also offers an accommodation plan with breakfast that includes an original cocktail starting at 16,781 yen per person.
