ITA Airways will introduce Premium Economy Class on its flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft operating on the Haneda-Rome route in July.
Direct flights between Tokyo and Rome’s Fiumicino Airport have been increased since March and now offer seven daily round-trip flights per week. The new Premium Economy Class service offers dedicated overhead compartments, extra legroom, amenities, and ground services such as priority boarding and disembarkation, and the introduction of Pre-Eco equipment will improve comfort on long-haul flights of 10 hours or more.
In addition to the 24 Premium Economy seats, the aircraft has 33 Business seats and 262 Economy seats, and will continue to offer a Comfort Economy area.
The summer 2024 flight schedule is as follows
