Lake Biwa Hotel (2-40 Hamacho, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture) will sell plans to view the Lake Biwa Grand Fireworks Festival to be held on August 8. The hotel will start accepting reservations on May 27 for members of the Lake Biwa Hotel Club and on June 10 for the general public.
The plan with overnight stay starts from 110,000 yen per person for double occupancy. Rates vary depending on the room type, and include the Premier Luxury Floor and Superior Floor.
The one-day plans are for viewing on the rooftop or on the boardwalk. The “Rooftop Special Viewing Pair Counter Seating Plan” for 100,000 yen for two persons includes a short course with free-flowing beverages at a special counter seating on the rooftop. The “Rooftop Special Viewing Pair Counter Seating Plan” for 100,000 yen for two persons and the “Teppan-yaki Ohmi” plan for 45,000 yen per person for dinner after viewing on the rooftop are also available. The Boardwalk plan includes a boxed lunch and beverages, and is available from front row seats for 23,000 yen per adult.
