Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo (6-6-7 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will offer afternoon tea in collaboration with Sumida Aquarium (5th and 6th floors of Solamachi, 1-1-2 Oshiage, Sumida-ku, Tokyo) from July 1 to September 30. The venue is “NAMIKI667” on the 3rd floor of the hotel.

The SUMIDA AQUARIUM is based on the concept of “The closer you get, the more you like it. The SUMIDA AQUARIUM features a large tank representing the Ogasawara Islands, penguins, jellyfish, and other animals, and exhibits that allow visitors to get up close and feel their breath.

The afternoon tea will feature sweets with motifs of seven kinds of creatures from among the approximately 260 species and 7,000 items that live in the aquarium, as well as salads made with ingredients from the Ogasawara Islands.

Also on sale is a plan that includes an aquarium admission ticket and a “Night Afternoon Tea” with limited-edition cocktails on weekdays only. The limited edition cocktail “Jelly Fish Squash” is inspired by the “Big Petri Dish,” a basin-shaped tank in which approximately 500 water jellyfish float.
