Telecom Square to Set Up Self-Service Wi-Fi Rental “WiFiBOX” at Sendai Airport

Posted on 2024-05-212024-06-07 by Editor in Chief

Telecomxair will set up a self-service Wi-Fi rental “WiFiBOX” at the Sendai Airport International Departure Lobby (Shimomashida Minamihara, Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture) and begin service at 10:00 a.m. on May 22.

After making a reservation online, simply pull out the Wi-Fi router from the box located at the airport, and you can return it to a different location than where you received it, as long as the WiFi box is located. Pick-up and return hours are from 6:10 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This is the first installation in Miyagi Prefecture, bringing the total number of WiFiBOX locations to 145 in 145 facilities. The company will continue to actively install WiFiBOXes in airports, train stations, commercial facilities, and other locations in Japan, including in the Tohoku area and Miyagi Prefecture.
