Mitsui Fudosan announced that Mitsui Outlet Park Marinpia Kobe (12-2 Kaigan Dori, Tarumi Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) will open in November.
The facility will temporarily close in January 2023, and is currently undergoing a complete rebuild. The site around the lagoon (a pond with seawater drawn in) will be expanded as the new project site, and the facility will be reborn as a facility that makes the most of the seaside environment.
The indoor mall, which is not affected by weather, gathers approximately 150 stores, including luxury, high-sensitivity select, sports, outdoor, and lifestyle goods.
A food marché will be located on the first floor, a new food court with terrace seating on the second floor, and a new restaurant, cake store, café, and barbecue area will be built by local company Potomac in the lagoon area.
