OWLTEC, USB charger with gallium nitride, 2-port Type-A/C, PD-PPS compatible

On May 23, OWL-TEC released the OWL-APD45C1A1G, a USB charger made of gallium nitride. The direct sales price is 4,180 yen.

This charger supports PD 45W output and has one USB Type-C/Type-A port each. It is miniaturized by using gallium nitride (GaN) and measures approximately 50 x 35 x 35 mm (W x D x H). The outlet section can be folded into the main body.

The Type-C port supports USB PD and PD-PPS for charging up to 45W, and the Type-A port can charge up to 18W with “Smart IC” that switches output current according to the connected device.
