Music Trip by Vocalist Kotone] Enjoying Nature in Lake Yamanakako in the Rain! A Full-Feeding Trip with Local Gourmet Food and Camping Meals

Posted on 2024-05-242024-06-07 by Editor in Chief

Arrival at the campground! After a year’s blank, setting up in the rain was a bit of a challenge! We arrived at the Lake Lodge Yamanaka campground in the pouring rain, checked in, and started setting up camp. I managed to put up the tarp, and next was the tent. My tent is not that difficult to set up, but I had a hard time finding it in the rain, wondering “Where is the front of the tent? I had a hard time finding it. After setting up the tent, it was getting cold in the evening, so we started to build a fire. The family was enthusiastic about the idea that pineapple enzymes would tenderize the meat, so they took out the pineapple jar containing the pork they had prepared the day before and started to make a spicy miso nabe. We decided to make hot wine to drink with the spicy miso nabe and stir-fried meat because it was cold. We decided on nabe because the nights are often still cold in spring camping, and it was a great decision. The ahi jio was also hot and delicious. While warming up our bodies, we also drank a lot of alcohol, from wine to whiskey with hot water. After eating and drinking so much, I found myself sleeping in the tent. It is difficult to set up a camp in the rain, but if you wear rainwear, you can do it without getting soaked, and since there are few other campers, you can relax in a reserved state.

Fuji while driving around in the afternoon. I had a good breakfast, but after exercising again during the cleanup work, I was immediately hungry and went to another restaurant because I had only eaten Yoshida udon at “Watanabe Udon”. The name of the restaurant is “Teuchi Udon Inaka” and it was lunch time, so the place was always full of locals. It was lunchtime, so the restaurant was always packed with locals. I ordered the cold udon and my family ordered the set meal of “motsu-ni”. The udon noodles were firm and probably a lot firmer than you might think. As someone who likes hard udon, I was pleased. The miso flavor of the dipping sauce really sinks in. The soup of the set meal is not miso soup, but dashi (Japanese soup stock) flavored udon noodles, which is a nice touch that keeps the taste from being overpowering. After lunch with the locals, we headed to the Peter Rabbit English Garden at the Fuji Motosuko Resort, a favorite of my Peter Rabbit-loving hobby.
