On May 24, Tamiya opened its flagship store “TAMIYA PLAMODEL FACTORY TOKYO” (4-3-1 Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo).
The latest Tamiya products are here. the store offers an overwhelming selection of approximately 6,000 Tamiya products, including the latest plastic models, mini 4WD, RC cars, and craft series.
The shelves, approximately 4 meters high and 100 meters long, are arranged in a zigzag pattern to create the atmosphere of a hobby room or a “model shop in town” surrounded by many models.
In the café space, a 4.65 x 2.8 m (L x W) 1/1-scale mini 4WD “Aero Avante” is on permanent display, which visitors can view while enjoying specialty coffee, juice and other soft drinks from ONIBUS COFFEE.
The event space “MODELERS SQUARE” will host various events such as exhibitions of model works, competitions and hands-on events for mini 4WD and RC cars, craft workshops, workshops, seminars, and talk shows.
