Hotel Reviewen byGMO, a review site that lets you find hotels by Wi-Fi speed

Posted on 2024-05-272024-06-08 by Editor in Chief

On May 27, GMO Internet Group launched “Hotel Reviewn by GMO,” a review site that allows users to select accommodations based on Wi-Fi speed and special information.

Emphasizing the need for information on the hotel’s Internet environment, which is essential for travel and business trips, information will include the average speed of Wi-Fi connected by actual users, speed by time of day, and whether video viewing and video calls can be made.

In addition, “particular reviews” of actual stays by users will be introduced. They will be able to see the hardness of the bed, comfort of the pillow, number of outlets, shower water pressure, sauna information, receipt invoice support, and neighborhood information. GMO ID holders can earn up to 20 points for submitting “particular reviews.

To celebrate the launch of the service, two campaigns will also be held: The first is the “Start with a View” campaign on X. Follow the official X account (@hotel_reviewn) and repost the campaign post to win a 3000 yen Amazon gift card for 30 people. The campaign will run from May 27 to June 17, 2012.

The second is the “Review Start with Beaune Campaign,” which can be entered by submitting a review, and 10 people will win 1000 GMO points every day by drawing if they submit a review by answering all the required items between May 27 and June 27 at 24:00.
