JR Kyushu will update the JR Kyushu App on May 29.
With this update, the number of discount tickets available for purchase from the app will be increased, and new sightseeing tickets will be added. In addition, the iron meter (formerly known as the trip meter, which awarded stamps/points for accumulating up to 100%) has been redesigned so that users can now accumulate meters not only by logging in, but also by viewing recommended information.
In addition, a new lottery function using coupons earned by using the app has been added. What the winners will win is a matter of taste, and the company plans to plan contents and events using the lottery function in the future.
In celebration of the app update, two campaigns will be held: one is a raffle for up to 10,000 JR Qipo points to be awarded to those who log in to the app and draw a raffle during the period of the update.
100 for the jackpot of 10,000 points and 1,000 for the prize of 1,000 points will be available, while the rest will be awarded 1 point as a participation prize. The period is from June 3 to August 30.
The other is to check in by reading the 2D barcodes on board D&S trains (sightseeing trains) with the application, and if you collect all the digital collections by GPS check-in at designated stations, 30 people will be selected by lottery to receive 10,000 JR QUPO points, and 2,000 points even if they fail to receive the points.
The target trains are “Yufuin no Mori,” “Let’s go by A train,” “Kasegayamakami,” “Asoboi! Futatsuboshi 4047, Ibusuki no Tamatebako, Umisachi Yamasachi, Aru Train, 36 Plus 3, and Jampachi Isoroku, from June 3 to March 31, 2027.
