JR East Hotels’ Hotel Metropolitan (1-6-1 Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) will sell a limited quantity of “Suica no Penguin Cookie Assortment” to celebrate its 39th anniversary.
Each one is handmade by our patissier using aromatic Takachiho fermented butter from Kyushu. There are a total of 10 types, including a chocolate-flavored Suica penguin shape with cute icing, a hazelnut-flavored little penguin shape, a pistachio-flavored stamped winking expression, a flower shape topped with apricot jam, and a strawberry-flavored shibori shape. 38 pieces of various sizes (210g) are packed in an originally designed tin. Reservations will be accepted on the online page starting June 2 at 12:00 p.m. and will be delivered at the Cake & Bakery Shop on the first floor of the hotel from June 13 to July 3.
